Field Hut - Interior 1 LRa.jpg

Our two bespoke huts encourage indulgence as well as simple living - sumptuous interiors, larger-than-normal bathrooms with bath tubs, a generous breakfast table and king size bed chamber for extra cosiness.

Each hut is equipped with luxury linens and Egyptian cotton towels, organic bath products, tea trays (with home-baked treats), flat screen TV and wifi, and hamper-breakfast service.  Of course a shepherd’s hut wouldn’t be complete without a wood burning stove and fire-pit, next to which guests can sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, or later in the day a chilled glass of wine.

The huts are finished with European Oak flooring, doors and windows and otherwise sustainable, temperate hardwoods. They are painted inside, and out, using Farrow & Ball colours.   Each hut measures 18ft x 9ft.

Unfortunately the huts are not equipped for young children or infants, but dogs can be discussed on a case by case basis.

This hut is positioned in the field near to Holme House and offers guests a secluded spot beneath a large oak tree, with broad views of the surrounding countryside.  Internally, the hut provides a cool, calm interior with walls finished with white tongue and groove panelling, a painted harlequin oak floor and contrasting graphite ceiling.   A double window in the central seating area takes full advantage of our big evening skies.

This hut is set in the walled garden adjacent to Holme House, with its fruit trees, herbaceous borders and seating area enclosed by a box hedge.  The hut offers a dark, cosy interior with walls finished in dark blue tongue and groove panelling, an oak floor and contrasting white ceiling.
